Standing Camp Packing List

A fuller kit for camps where your main bag is transported to the campsite.

Pack it well

  1. Put everything in one strong, named duffel or pack that the young person can carry.
  2. Separate sleepwear and tomorrow’s clothing into dry bags or reusable zip bags.
  3. Keep rain gear, hat, drink bottle and torch easy to reach.
  4. Name individual items, especially uniform, towels, eating gear and drink bottles.
  5. Pack together so the young person knows where everything is and can repack it independently.
Leave at home unless specifically requested:
valuables, electronic entertainment, knives or tools, aerosols, glass containers, lollies and food not included in the camp plan.
